My name is Mark and I break down handstands into small tangible bite sized pieces easy to digest, that get you real results.

For the last 8 years, I’ve been extensively practicing hand balancing. My obsession led me to traveling the world for more knowledge, investing more than 500 hours into handstand specific trainings from the top yogis to the top circus performers. I’ve experienced many different methodologies for teaching handstands, from yoga to circus arts.

My vast experience has allowed me to distill the essential elements that make up a solid handstand. I now present this refinement to my students in a clear and concise way.

From yoga teacher trainings to workshops and retreats, I’ve taught more than 5,000 students in over 20 countries how to do a handstand with the proper technique. I’m also the lead handstand teacher at a renowned yoga studio in my home of Bali, the tropical yoga paradise of the world.


Through The Handstand Academy, I offer 6 Weeks to Handstand, in which I give you personalised guidance to learn how to enter a handstand accurately, support yourself confidently, and come out safely. The course consists of 5 hours of content throughout 24 videos, and includes downloadable training schedules.
